22nd April 2012 Windsurfing: calshot Wind Direction: wnw Wind Stength: 0 - 25 knots Surf / Sea State: flat Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Weather: varied Max Speed: Distance Covered: Day 2 on SWA and was hoping the forecast would come true ..... After sun then rain then more hail the wind started to pick up so i rigged 7.8 silverline for a bit of high speed flat water blasting , while Krafty rigged 6.6 to try NEW Nano 135 , RichC rigged 7.1 to put on Scross and Usurf rigged 7.8 for SL78 . By the time we were rigged and suited the wind was blowing hard and sails were being changed . Not one to give in I took 7.8 for a blast on Nano 125 , after a couple of flat out, out of control runs I came in and changed to 6.6 on 10'5 and had a good 3/4 hour until the wind died and the rain came . So packed up and headed back to sussex having had a good weekend |
